Hello. Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a lawyer practicing in the areas of Sports and Entertainment Law. I have been in practice for over 15 years providing in-house legal advice and services to industry-leading sports and entertainment companies. Most recently, I was the vice president and general counsel for the San Francisco 49ers football organization where I was in charge of all legal and business contractual matters for the team from 2001 through 2006. My solo law practice is located in downtown San Francisco. My clients range from small and mid-sized sophisticated companies to individuals seeking advice and assistance in negotiating contracts with large conglomerates. Client matters, exclusively business contract related, range from business-to-business negotiations to individual personal services contracts to intellectual property licensing arrangements. I provide professional legal review and advice to clients prior to their entering into binding business arrangements and provide the legal structure necessary for the client to gain the greatest advantage from each of its business deals. I am a licensed NFL player agent and a certified contract advisor of the NFL Players Association. This practice is focused on athlete, celebrity and talent representation and management. In addition to providing advice, counsel and legal drafting services for athlete, celebrity and talent employment contracts, I also arrange and structure endorsement, sponsorship and other revenue-generating agreements for the athlete, celebrity and talent client. I was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas (former President Bill Clinton's hometown!), and graduated from Boalt Hall School of Law at UC-Berkeley after receiving my bachelor's in Political Science at Stanford University. People always ask do I cheer for one school over the other when Cal plays Stanford in the Big Game. Yes, I do. But, can't say who. I don't want to make enemies.
